Can anyone tell me how can I permanently change the font
in the information fiel in the contacts form in Outlook.
I believe the information field is the name of the blank
area at the bottom of the form.
Thank you for your help

It uses the same font as you've set as your default for mail messages in the
Tools | Options | Mail Format dialog.

Thank you but your tip is good for changing the font in
email messages, but it does not change the font in the
field called Large Text Box in the contact form.
If changed, the font reverts to the default when the next
new contact form is opened.

I fixed mine thusly. (The kicker was the "Use Microsoft Word..." being set.

Check "Use Microsoft Word" if desired. | OK

It works fine for mine, Outlook 2000. As Sue Mosher says, the e-mail message format font is the font used in the text portion of the new Contacts.

Try again.

Thank you, but I don't want to change the mail default
font, just the font in the general area of the Contacts
Form.

In a previous version, If I opened the the font and pushed
the default button, the font was changed in that area
only. With the new version of Outlook, I cannot find a
way to do this.

I don't know of any way to do that in any previous version either.
