Font for report; many fields aligned vertically; decimal points must align

Hello --

What typically-installed, fixed-width font do readers recommend for a report
with:
- fields stacked vertically
- fields contain numbers formatted as "nnn,nnn,nnn.nn"
- digits and decimal points must align

I was using Line Printer but realized that it might not be included when
Windows is installed.

I think Courier is the classic fixed width font.

However, you may not have to use a fixed width font. Just
about every proportional font uses a fixed with for the
decimal digits just do they can be lined up correctly.
