font folder always crashes

whenever i try to open my winnt > fonts folder or
add/install a new font, it will crash my system. this
started happening after a font was installed, but i can't
seem to open it to delete out the fonts. i also can't
delete the fonts from a command prompt.

any thoughts? thanks in advance.

Note exactly a fix, but you can delete fonts from the registry, there is a
FONTS key, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts

Have you tried (re) installing the latest SP?

When you say "crash," do you mean a blue screen of death?

If so, please let us know what the STOP code is.
