When I print my powerpoint 2000 presentation, the notes portion is
converting all "quotation marks" or apostrophe's into what looks like
Chinese lettering. The font is Arial unicode, size 14. How can I correct
this or perhaps change the default font on all slides at once?
Hi Janice,
it sound like your printer doesn't "know" this font. In the "File | Print"
dialog box you'll find a button "Options" next to the list where you choose
your printer. Somewhere there you can find an option how your printer
handles TrueType fonts. The standard setting usually is "Use printer fonts",
try changing this to "Load font into printer as softfont". Your printer uses
exactly the same font as your computer then - see if it helps.
Another thing you could do is to search for a new version of the printer
driver on the printer manufacturer's website and upgrade your printer
driver.
Kind regards,
