Simply Frustrated

I'm trying to type a simple invitation and I'm using black cardstock and am
trying to print my text in white. However when I print it's not printing in
white. Any ideas?

I don't believe home printers have the capability to print white. the CMYK
inks cannot mix to create that color. Usually when anything is white it is
just "blank" (the paper) that the printer leaves.
Sorry, this has happened to me too and has been very disappointing!!

Now I'm totally frustrated because if I take a blank powerpoint and put a
color background (ex. blue) and then do white print it will work.

ALPS dry ink printers used to have a white cartridge that would print on dark
paper. The other option is printing with a Laserprinter and then using
LaserFoil. They have a silver that looks white.

Now I'm totally frustrated because if I take a blank powerpoint and put a
color background (ex. blue) and then do white print it will work.

But you don't print the white, you just print the blue around areas where
the blank background shines through. In your school paint-box there might be
white color - in your printer there isn't. Thus you can only use Cyan,
Magenta, Yellow, and Black ("CMYK") and mix them - and never get white.

Best regards,
Ute
