Font Codes in a Notes Field

I've created a report which allows the user to search for
a key word within a 'notes' field (Text/Memo). The
report then displays all records that have that key word
in the Notes field. What I'd like to do is make all
occurances of that word appear in BOLD. I'm able to use
the Replace function to do things to the word (add
parentheses, ***word***, etc...) but I can't seem to get
bold or underline codes to work (&B &U). Is there a way
to do this ? Thanks.

Not in Access as delivered by Microsoft.
You can purchase and install a RichTextFormat control, or take a look
at
http://www.lebans.com
for his version of a RTF.

Thanks for the tip. I did download the control from
Lebans, but it only seems to work if all of the RTF codes
are hardcoded into the data field. You can only assign a
data field as the ControlSource and can't build it
dynamically as you can with a normal control.

Assuming I work around these limitations, is there an
easy way to create text with all the RTF codes so I can
copy it into a data field ? I've seen text editors in
the past that allowed you to see all the formatting
codes, but it's been years since I've used one. I tried
creating a RTF file in Word but can't get it to show the
codes I need.
