You also failed to mention the make and model od the sound card.............
 
Is this card a SW1000XG by any chance....... this will be a slim chance as
this card is a very expensive one designed with pro musicians in mind.......
 
no, I don't think so. I don't remember him saying that. I had him run ad
aware and his antivirus programs in case some software might have screwed
up his settings.
