Question 1:
I have a Win2K server and I would like to connect 10 computers to it. I
would like all computers to have their own internal (non-routable) IP
address (the 10.0.0.0 range). I also have a high speed modem. I would like
to connect all computers to the server and also have all computers access
the internet. How do I do this? Is there a proxy involved? I would like to
stay away from ICS if possible.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Response 1:
You will need proxysoftware like ISA 2000.
Install DHCP on the server and let the clients obtain an IP automatically.
Question 2:
Can I do this without using DHCP? I would rather the users have a static
IP. Thanks.
