In our office we have 5 FP users. I'm moderately knowledgeable; can't
wait to go to FP2003.

The other 4 hate new programs, have to be shown every single step and
wouldn't know html if it hit them in the face. My practice is to make
the jump to a new release, play with it for a few months, then spend a
couple of weeks of H*** teaching them the essentials.

If I'm working on the office web in fp2003, and they need to make minor
edits in 2002, will it screw anything up?

This depends on what new FP2003 features you want to use. If you only use
editing tools such as the Quick Tag Selector and various Code view
enhancements, FP2002 designers will never know the difference. But if you
jump into things like Layout Tables, Dynamic Web Templates and Behaviors, of
which FP2002 is blissfully ignorant, then designers using hte old version
are likely to screw things up.

Erin,

If the user are not adventuresome then it is unlikely they will "screw"
anything up. The layout is basically the same and most command are found in
the same locations.

And the key to "proper" use of FP2003 is for Each user to carefully review the settings under Tools Page Options (especially
Authoring)
- will affect what will happen under various modes (like tables)
