follow on pages fail after update of virus scanner

After updating MacAfee virus scanner 4.5.1 to the enterprise ed. 7.0.1 on a
Windows 2000 pro machine any attempt to bring up a follow on window or if I
click on a submit button on a page then the confirmation page or pop-up just
displays a blank page. Also hyperlinks can not be followed from HTML type
e-mails.
Has anyone got an idea of what's going on or is their a DLL or other file
that has been corrupted

If the AV software includes popup blocking and email checking either / both
probably need settings changed. Email scanning is next to worthless anyway
but check what settings are available for these options and try some less
severe settings, see if that helps. Can't help with where to look since I
don't have MacAfee but it sounds like a reasonable first try thing to me...

Well i've at long last found the answer it was the old fav. urlmon.dll that
needed to be re-registered
