I need to know how to make a sub folder under My Pictures
to drop different groups of photos. I can make new folders
for everyday but i need a sub folder that I can open up to
put other photos in so I can seperate personal from
business.
Please help

Open My Picture folder so you see the list of files in it.
Click on File on the top bar.
Click on New and then click on Folder
A textbox will open with New Folder in it highlighted in blue.
Just type a name in it to replace New Folder. Use something you can easily
remember and find. Something like year, month, event. Something like:
2004_02_Mardi Gras
and press the Enter key to complete the job.
Any system will do, but year and month first will make sure that the
subfolders you make will be listed in some kind of order for the groups of
pictures you want to keep in the subfolders.
You should remember that by default, XP makes all the pictures available all
the files in My Pictures and its subfolders for My Picture Slide Show under
Screen Saver. If you use this as a Screen Saver, your business and personal
pictures will be popping up at random on your screen! The only way to avoid
this is to make a new folder on your C drive. You can call it My Personal
Pictures and then make subfolders in this folder for your different groups
of pictures.
