I have created 12 folders and named them January up to December.
In each folder i have 4 other folders called week 1,2,3,4 & 5.
These stay in the correct order when the folder opens up but all my month
folders are not in monthly order.
April is the first folder when i really want them in month order. i have
tried rightclicking the folder and VIEW as but to no avail.
Any ideas as it is a bit frustrating and is not very tidy

Thanks

Explorer sorts the folders alphanumerically not by how the names would be
listed on a calendar.

Rename the folders 1January thru 12December, then they will get sorted the
way you want.

Or rename them aJanuary thru lDecember. That's the way I do it and it works
for me.

Perhaps because A is the first letter of the alphabet?

Seriously, as far as any computer is concerned, your folder names are
just text. Try renaming them to 01-January, 02-February, and so on to
12-December (not 012). Then they'll sort correctly.

Or not, depending on the setting for sorting numeric filenames. The
OP might get October through December following January.

I use a leading 0 on the single-digit numbers, thus sidestepping that
issue.
