Hi

I am using win 2000 pro the trouble I am having is that my nortons fire wall
has picked up a progarm that is trying to access the internet I do not want
it to in fact I want to delete it from my computer so I did a search to find
where on my puter it is but search does not find it and I did a search for
the folders listed and it does not find them I also tried to find it by
following the path noted on the nortons window but the foldres listed are
not where they are listed. path as follows are far as I can remember;
I found it in the task manager and ended the task to stop
it but it will load agian when I reboot
Documents and Settings/
Administrator/
Local Settings/
Temp/
fs_tmp/
ginst_001_1234_4201.exe
The last item is the application

computer does not find it but when my antivirus is checking the system it
comes up in the window showing the folders been checked but I can not find
it on my computer if you look in my first post you will see the tree
administrator folder opens but the local settings folder and the temp folder
are not in there but everythig else that should be there is any ideas about
why they are not showing up when I open the admin folder

The Local Settings folder is probably hidden on your system. Go to
Control Panel > Folder Options > View, and select "Show hidden files and
folders", then click OK. You should now be able to see the folders you're
looking for.
