Folders window appears everytime you open Internet Explorer

Whenever Internet Explorer is launched, by default the Folders window appears
in the left pane. How can I turn this off so that it does not come up again
and again.

Close the Folders Window before you close the browser and it will remember
the view. You may have to go to Internet Options and see if there is also a
"remember view" option.

Thanks for the reply. But, unfortunately that did not help. I am sure their
should be a settings in IE Advanced properties that would turn this off. Its
been a long time since, I rolled out IE and did things with IE, but just
trying to figure out where this would take effect in the IE settings.

Just needed a quick answer from the newsgroups as the customer is
frustrated. Actually, they are launching IE through Citrix MetaFrame and
opening up a published application.
