Folders marked when rules applied

If you are using rules to manage the flow in your inbox, it would be great if
the folders that those emails get moved into are somehow marked when new
items come in. At this time, I only see the generic mail alert at the bottom
of my screen, but I don't always know which folder it went to. It would help
if the folder were somehow hightlight for new items.

please check your rule, if you have activated, "mark this item as read".
