I stumbled on these on my systems and am curious about why
they are there and how/If I should delete them. I'm been
using IE6.0 for some time and there are over 50,000 files
in 4 different folders under the Folder topic noted.
Little space is used but why are they there?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Joe,
You get one of those flies each time OE opens a message. When you clear the
cache (Internet Options> General> Delete Files) put a check by "Delete all
offline content." That will clear these.

The four folders with eight character random names are an essential part of
the IE cache management. Leave them alone.
