I like to shut down Windows 2000 with a couple folders
open and Windows Explorer open to some folder that is 8 or
9 layers down. Having these items automatically open when
I start Windows makes my life easier.

Since I installed SP4 the files do not open when I start
Windows. I don't know what to search for to find help,
since I don't know the terminology to use for the auto
open feature of Windows.

Can anyone help?

I've tried disabling:
Group Policy | User Configuration | Administrative Templates | Desktop | Don't save settings at exit
but that didn't work.

I've tried setting:

NoSaveSettings REG_BINARY to 0 in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

but that didn't work either.

Any other ideas ?
