Folders and icons

Hello,

Is it possible to permanently attach a unique icon image
to a folder no matter where you copy the folder to (i.e.
a server, another computer ...). If not, how would I
move folders to a server and then create individual icons
for them. When I tried to do so, the option for
attaching a unique icon to each folder was not present in
the folder's property menu. Thanks!

This is for thumbnails. There's no foolproof way to move icons as folders need to be read only on destination. If so you can use a desktop.ini and icon in the folder.
