Folders and file viewing error

Hello All. Here is the problem i am having i have windows xp pro with
all the most recent service patches etc etc
when i create a folder and drop my short cuts into the folder and i
try to either or resize the folder it wont save the new size and
reverts back to the original size. Also when i view the short cuts in
the folder and change them to icons and i close the folder and reopen
they revert back to titles, Very frustrating since in the folder
options under view i have it set to remember each folders viewing
settings any and all help with this matter is appreciated.

Click Kelly's link below, then on "F" and scroll down to the section on
folder views.
