Folder with Photos

Hi All,
I seem to be having a problem with any folders that have
digital pictures in them. The folder starts to open and
then locks up it takes a long time before the files will
finally show up.. I think it has something to do with the
thumbnails but I'm not sure how to fix it. It never used
to be this slow.
