Did you have a web open under My Webs or just the file? If just the file
then you'll have to do a File | Open ....

The default page and images are stored in "My Web Sites" and I want them to
be shown in the Folder View.

Open FrontPage
File->Open Site
Browse to My Web Sites and click the folder to highlight it.
Click Open.
