In Windows 2000 Professional, when I'm using Windows
Explorer, I'd like View - Details to be the global default
setting. Is there a way to do this (other than setting
each folder?) I've been into <Control Panel - Folder
Options> but can't really see something there that will do
it.

Hi Arthur,

1. Click Start->Run, type "explorer" without the quotation marks, and then
press
Enter.
2. On the View menu, click to select the Details item.
3. On the Tools menu, click the Folder Options item.
4. On the View Tab, click the Like Current Folder button and then click OK.
