What specifically are you trying to change? The message text?

What folder text do you mean?

steve

No the folder listing text. I found how to do what I wanted-it's the
settings in the "appearance" box under advanced. I needed to increase the
size of the text windows ( active text etc.) and changed the font and it's
size to be a little larger. It's been a long time since I set up XP and it
took a while to remember where the settings were.
Thanks,
Bob

Wow, you've lost me.

Right click on the desktop. Select personalize, window and color appearance,
open classic appearance properties for more color options, appearance
settings then advanced. Then you can adjust all kinds of window parameters,
font styles, color and sizes for various things like "message text".

Okay, makes sense now.
For a second I thought you were seeing some hidden
options in Windows Mail.

It used to be the icon font. I don't know if its the same in Vista. Try
that.

What about font and color in the body of the message. Could not seem to get
there. Just got this "Vista" yesterday and am chewing nails so far. Hope it
gets better. Am trying to do far too much at once I guess> Thanks for
anything you can do.

Are you composing in HTML?

Many thanks, Bob. Got it. Any ideas on calendars other "owner's calendar"
that I don't have to be on the Internet to use? Again, thanks for your help!
