Hi

Our company, which standardized on Outlook 2007, are currently undergoing an
excercise to reduce the sizes of individual users mailboxes on Exchange.
Most users organize their mail in sub folders created within their Inbox. I
am looking for a method that will output (in any format) the sizes of the
individual sub folders to assist in identifying sub folders that require
some sort of archiving. I know that one can establish folder sizes
individualy by checking each folders properties, but this is not practical
due to the number of users and the number of nested sub folders.

Hope someone can assist?

Kind Regards - Grant

On the client side, rather than checking individual folder properties, I'd
right click the Mailbox, at the top of the folder tree, and pull the folder
size there, that'll give you the folder size for every folder in the tree.

On the server side, you might be better off asking in microsoft.public.exchange.admin.
There might be some reporting built into Exchange's System Manager, but
I'm not sure how much they did vs. letting other people write deep reports.
