Folder Shredder

Can anyone please recommend a file/folder shredder software that actually shreds the folders? I've tried software called "File Shredder" (upon recommendation) but when I test it by trying to recover with "Pandora Recovery" the folders are recovered with their original titles, and the files are still named but in red type and are unable to open. I'd really like a shredder/eraser/destroyer that deletes the entire folder, title and contents.
Any suggestions please?
