Does anyone know of a utility that will interrigate the
AD for rights to folders. I have tried baseline security
analyzer but this only reports on shares NOT their sub
folders. It would be ideal if this could also be able to
give a printed report.

You could use cacls.exe. To create a report, run it
from a Command Prompt and direct its output into
your report file.

Go to: http://www.systemtools.com/somarsoft/ and select the Free Tools
link. DumpSec creates a pretty nice report. There are better
utilities for this, but this one is free.

BTW, if I recall they have started including a trial of Hyena in the
DumpSec installation file. Be sure to uncheck the Hyena box during
install, unless you want to try that out (It has some neat stuff in
it.)

Otherwise, install only DumpSec. For future reference go to the
installation folder and copy the files to another location. It's a
green program, so the install isn't actually required. All you need
are the files dumpsec.exe, dumpsec.hlp, and the readme.txt.
