Greetings.
Currently we are using Group Policy to apply folder redirection on the
network, as opposed to roaming profiles (which is where we eventually
want to end up). Folder redirection policies are applied to groups,
which has been working OK so far, but now there is a snag. We have
some speech pathologists who have been using Citrix at a central
location to access a Winframe server, where their Tracker program is
located. However, they would like to be able to access out in the
field, where there is no Citrix.
I would like for them to use the TS web-based client that is already
out there, but when they access the Winframe server using that, they
pull their desktop profiles specified in the GPO. Now, in the user
property sheet in AD, there is a field for a Terminal Services profile
path, but it is being trumped by the GPO. Is there any way to make
that field dominate when they use Terminal Services? Any help is
greatly appreciated.
