Patrick

I am trying to re-direct my documents and settings folder
to the D: partition. I have gone into Group Policy under
User Configuration, Windows Settings and there are no
options except Scripts, Security Settings, and Internet
Explorer Maintenance.

Help.

Thanks.

Download and install TweakUI:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

After installing, go to Start > Programs > PowerToys for Windows XP >
TweakUI. Expand "My Computer" and click on "Special Folders".
You can easily change the location of the folders there.

Hi Patrick,

The only way to move the "Documents and Settings" folder is using unattended setup.

See: Cannot Move or Rename the Documents and Settings Folder
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;236621

The other method, changing the ProfileImagePath in registry may not work very well.
