Hello everyone,

I hope I can find an answer to my question in this forum,
as I received no response in the WinXP forum. But I
believe the knowledge applies to both WinXP and Win2K.

I have a Windows XP Professional workstation that is not
part of a domain, it is standalone.
By default for each user that logs-on the machine I want
the "My Documents" and "Application Data" folders to be
redirected to a different drive than C. I want to store
that data on a seperate hard drive D.
Group Policy folder redirection seems to be exactly what I
want except I'm not running an AD network.

Perhaps a registry based policy? Anyone have an ADM file
or know which registry entries to edit?

Thanks,

Joe Arauzo

You can change the target of the my documents folder without AD. See the
