Folder redirect, Synchronize, offline files

I am using a XP pro laptop in an enterprise
environment. "My Documents" folder was redirect to a
folder on server A through GPO. Enable Offline Files is
checked in the Folder Options/Offline Files. "Synchronize
all offline file before logging off" is select as default.
All those works great together.
However, if I log onto the LOCAL machine as an
administrator or onto our DOMAIN as a user who has no
folder redirect enabled through GPO, I will see the
synchronization window before logging off. The laptop is
trying to sync with a folder on Server A where My
Documents was redirected.
Is this something normal or something is not configured
correctly either on client or server? It is annoying to
see synchronizing window when a local user logs off.

Folder redirection, disk quotas, and software installation
all use Client Side Extension (CSE) DLL's. So if you
remove the folder redirection GPO it will continue to
redirect the folders. You have to modify the registry key
that was changed.
