Folder permissions - change only ( no create )

We have Windows 2000 server - I want to allow users to
make changes to files that already exist within a folder -
but not create any new files within that folder - Is this
possible - I've had a look at the advanced folder option -
and checked the web but i can't find a definitive answer
to this. Any help much appreciated.

Hey Charlie,

As far as i know the only way to do this is to just give
the users in question read access to the folder in
question which won't allow them to create any new
files/folders, then give users permissions on the current
files that you want them to be able to change.
