Hi.

Is there any program which can password a folder in XP and allow access
by entering the passwrd each time without hiding the folder, having to
unlock the entire program, and without disabling the protection each
time the folder is accessed??

Thanks
Jon

Windows XP (NTFS) doesn't work like that. Windows XP's NTFS works of
file/folder permissions. You could deny/grant access to a folder to any
user/group.

You could also look into using ZIP passwords - as Windows XP will treat that
as a folder and it can be password protected.

Another option - if you have Windows XP Professional or some superset -
would be EFS (Encrypted File System) - but you should learn the best
practices for this and follow them closely if you use this method.
