You most likely have a virus.
Download "Spybot Search & Destroy" from
http://www.safer-networking.org/
Instal and run an anti-virus application.
Copy the following file to a convenient folder and rename the newly created file as R.exe.
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\regedit.exe
Now use R.exe instead of regedit.exe
