Folder Issue

Whenever I double clicked on a folder, a search window opened in a separate
window. I then tried looking through forums on the internet, and found what I
thought to be a solution. However, this merely alterred the option for
opening folders so that they open in a separate window. I have tried
restoring the default settings and this didn't work. The setting for opening
folders int he same window is also definately active. I would like to know
how to open folders in the same window again.

Open Folder Properties...
Start | Run | Type: control folders | Click OK |
General tab | Select: Open each folder in the same window |
Click Apply | Click OK

Open each folder in the same window
[[Specifies that the contents of each folder open in the same window. To
switch back to the previous folder, click the Back button on the toolbar, or
press BACKSPACE.]]
