Folder Icon Size Issue

Hello, the problem I seem to be experiencing is to do with my folder icon
sizes. I know how to get the icons in the explorer to the sizes I want, but
when I close the window and open it up again, they are back to the original
size again (the smallest). This problem only appeared recently, and I have
had no similar problems beforehand. Any help would be appreciated.

Scroll down to the section, 'Increase Folder View Cache Memory'. This shows
how to increase the memory that explorer uses to remember the settings,
which should fix the problem you are seeing.
