My Vista Home Premium Windows Explorer has taken to displaying folders in
specialized formats (Music or Pictures) rather than the general format (Name
- Date Modified - Type - Size - Tags), even when none of the files in the
open folder is an image or audio file. How do I get Windows Explorer to quit
using inapropriate folder formats? The sort function does not work as well
with the specialized formats.
The problem began before installing Service Pack 1 but was not cleared up by
that update.
