News Alert! This just in !!!
I can open any folder I want except one. It contains a number of
TIF files. When I go to that folder, I get a Windows Explorer Error.
Heeeeeeeeelp! I've just got to get to those TIF images!

AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1217 Offset: 000085c0

What is possibly your problem is that Explorer crashes upon trying to create
thumbnails of your TIF's. There are so many different standard and
non-standard types of TIF image file formats that you might well be using
one that is less popular. To try and stop it doing this, you could try
switching off the 'common tasks', shown on the left-hand side of each
folder, before you go into the folder. You can do this when in explorer by
clicking on Folder Options in the Tools menu. In the General tab, under
Tasks, set it to use Windows classic folders. Also you could try
right-clicking on the folder and when in the Customize tab set the folder
type to "Documents (for any file type)".

Interesting. I would never have thought of that. Thanks for the
suggestion.
