Hi:
Two computers share a common file server drive. The
application which accesses the file is unable to open a
certain folder saying there must be read, write, change
access.
Go to host computer. Right mouse click on folder in
question. "Read Only" is checked. So I uncheck it,
select to make the change apply to all subfolders. It
says Apply, so I click Apply. I get no errors so I click
Ok. The folder attribute is still read only. If I right
mouse click the folder in question, the setting will go
right back to "read only"
Why won't these changes stick?
