Folder Assistant not working

I'm using Outlook 2002 under Windows XP Professional.

I use the Rules wizard quite a lot, to sort incoming Email. Several of
my Email accounts are IMAP folders, so I have set up a rule to move all
incoming email from each of the IMAP accounts into their own local
folder, so I don't have to be online to be able to read the email.

I had planned to further sort the email from the local folder (s) into
subfolders, once it's all been copied down from the server, however when
I go into the folder properties, and go to the Administration tab, the
"Folder Assistant" button is greyed out.

I looked on the M.S. Website for info. I found the following K.B.
article. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;292963
.. This article was for Windows 2000 and Outlook 2002 which said :
Cause - "This behavior can occur because Outlook does not install the
Mapif2.cfg, Mapif2l.ico, and Mapif2s.ico files in the C:\Winnt\Forms
\Configs folder."

While this gives one possible cause, it's for Windows 2000, and I am
running Windows XP Pro. Windows XP Pro does not have the folder
mentioned, so even if I could locate the proper files on the CD, I don't
know where they would need to be installed (presuming that this IS the
problem in this case, which I don't know). The M.S. Website had little
other information which I could locate which could assist, and the K.B.
Article in question didn't have any info or suggestions on a remedy, it
just listed the problem, and the cause.

Does anyone know what, if anything, I can do to get this feature to work
properly in Windows XP Pro, with Outlook 2002?

Folder Assistant is an available feature only on Exchange public folders. It
doesn't apply to IMAP accounts.
