Folder and Startup Setup Problems

I somehow set my XP Home Edition to the bad settings and
I can not figure out how to fix it. When I login to the
pc or open any file or folder by double clicking the
mouse it directs you to the search page, I have to right
click then click on open on all fills, and when I login 2
sherch menus open. Any help would by great!
