1. Copy Paste your Flow chart to your slide ( or build it
there manually, either way), Then make a copy of this
slide as a working slide.
2. Right click the chart and select Grouping from the
drop down box
3. select ungroup.
4. You will be asked if you want to convert the object to
a different file type, click OK
5. You will probably need to select and ungroup the
object one more time.
6. Now save this slide as a working slide.
7. Now select the objects you want to appear first (Click
and hold down the shift key until all the objects you
want are selected) and right click on one of the selected
items and select "Group".
8. Right click on this group and select "Custome
Animation" You will get a panel on the right that will
give you the animation options. This varies greatly
depending on what version of PPT you have. You are
looking for "Fly from Right" but you can experiment and
see which one you like best. "Wipe" - Up, down, left or
right is good for flowcharts.
9. Continue grouping and animating until you have done
the complete chart.
10. Be sure to "Save" Often
Good Luck!!

I'm a new user, and have what is probably a simple
question. I'm preparing a presentation that will include
a process flow chart. I've seen presentations in which
each slide adds a new step to the flow chart...and this
shoots across the screen (which is kind of cool). Any
ideas as to how to do this?
