Is there a way to transfer documents on floppy disk (External A Drive)
connected to my Inspiron notebook to a CD-R on my CD/ROM Drive? Or do I have
to transfer to hard drive and computer documents first and then copy to CD-R?

It depends on your software, but on my setup I just mark the files I want from
the floppy, "copy" them, and then "paste" them to the CD drive.

If you have packet writing software like InCD or DLA installed you can
simply drag and drop from the floppy to a packet formatted CD-R/W, or, right
click the floppy icon and select Copy then right click the CD-R/W drive and
select Paste (of course you need a packet formatted CD-R/W in the drive)
