Everytime the computer reboots, (Windows XP
Professional), it tries to access the floppy drive (a:)
and an error message is generated stating that a disk is
not installed in the drive. The cancel has to be selected
continuously until it finally gives up and continues to
load. Also the computer tries to access the a: drive
first no matter what you do while working in Windows. An
error message is not generated though after the computer
boots up fully. Any ideas how to fix this?

enter your system bios and disable 'boot up floppy seek' also change your
boot device priority from floppy disk to hard drive.

to enter bios, hold down delete or f2 typically during start up. (look for
message, "press delete to enter set up)
