Floppy Drive Not Detected

Hello! I recently added a new hard drive and everything was working fine. All of a sudden, my floppy drive was not listed in My Computer or anywhere else. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I am sort of a novice so please use as simple terms as possible

Well, seeing as how you just put in a new hard drive... my guess would be that during the installation of said hard drive you accidentaly unplugged your floppy drive Double check the connections & try again!

PS, if your BIOS still detects your floppy then there is something else wrong.

Thanks for you fast response. My floppy hard drive was detected after installing the new hard drive and Windows XP.
