I can't read JPEG files off my floppy that was created using windows95 with FAT32, now have windows XP with NTSF, how can I get around this?

This may be a reappearance of the NTFS bug on showing color. Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, View unchec
"Show encrypted or compressed NTFS folders in color"

Hi Joey,

I have had problems with floppies ever-since going to XP. I have tried every
suggestion made and have come to the conclusion that there is a fault in the
drivers in some XP disks. Some people have no problems and others do.

I have installed the 3 mode driver from the link in the following article
and since used floppies in my XP machine, as well as a 98 and 2K machine
with no problems. It is a recent installation and have not had a chance to
really see if it is a cure. You may want to give it a try. The article is
rather hard to follow but, the necessary information is in there.

I didn't have any floppy problems in XP sofar.
But it's very irritating that many people have those problems and no
solution is offered by MS.
