floppy disk

my floppy disk doesn't want to load my flies. it also stays
on continually is there any adjustment or setting i can
use to correct this!!
 
Did you build this PC up and this is newly done?.
If you installed the Floppy disk wiring back to
front the light will stay on at all times.
Is this what you are saying???
Please elaborate a bit!!!
