How can I password protect a single floppy so it cannot be accessed.

Want to protect if from someone else deleting files or reformatting it.

Thanks

You can remove the "write protect" block from the disk, but
that can be replaced with a piece of tape. You can encrypt
the data but the floppy can be formatted...
The truth is floppies use FAT file system and it is not
secure.

Best thing is a safe and lock (and several back-up copies)

A small padlock inserted through the write protect hole will work reasonably
well, until someone cuts it off.

You write-protect 3 1/2" floppies by sliding the tab on the back of the
diskette to an open position (you can see through the hole). This will
prevent deleting and/or formatting, but will not prevent anyone from
reading the disk... that requires some kind of encryption.
