I upgraded a Gateway pc from win 98 to win2kpro and I'm
having difficulty using the floppy drive now. I insert a
disk click to browse and it asks for a floppy (when one is
in) and stays like that, the light is on but reading or
copying to media?

Also I had resolved another issue with the video adapter
ealier in the installation and managed to remove a SCSI
LED Cable that I dont know where it should terminate, the
two are probably related? any help?

Go to start->run and type cmd
Type chkdsk a: /f

And see if that reports any errors. You can do a /r to repair as well.

Otherwise, check that the cable isn't on backwards :)
