My floppy seems to be pointing to B, rather than A, and
nothing was changed on the computer. It is running Win2k
with 512mb ram on a P4 2.4 ghz. I tried to deleted the
floppy drive and the controller, but it BSODs with a phys
mem dump. I checked BIOS and that seems to look fine. Any
ideas?

Try accessing it as A: from the command line, eg "C:\dir A:". This may change
things back to normal. Then again, it may not. :-)

Good luck.
