*if* you have a floppy drive (either as part of the laptop or an
accessory) - I suggest there.

(Manuals.. Read them, learn them, live them.)
 
I think you'll find it probably hasn't got one and if you need to use
floppies you would need to purchase an external drive. My personal opinion
is that if you already have another machine which has a floppy drive on you
would be better putting your money towards one of the many USB2 Flash Drives
that are around, saving the data onto the other machine and then
transferring that to Flash Drive, which you can then take to your laptop
and download it. Sounds more complicated than it is. The Flash Dives can be
bought in numerous sizes, mine holds 128mb my friends holds 256mb.
